Built By Facebook, Vote 2

Categories: Built By Facebook, Events | Posted: January 29, 2013

This week’s vote chooses exterior style of The Waverly. There are two options in all KempBridge models: Traditional and Transitional.

In this particular model, there are many differences between the two. Both do have mostly brick fronts, but the Traditional accent siding is beaded lapboard and hardie cedar shakes in the top gables, and the Transitional has a board and batten contrast. The Transitional also has rounded garage door windows, a full length porch across the front of the home, and a lack of shutters compared to the Traditional. Do you like interesting rooflines? Check out the Transitional’s clipped corners!

The vote is going on now and will go through the end of the week on our Facebook Page.

Despite a last minute push by Belmont fans, THE WAVERLY is the very first winning vote in our Built by Facebook campaign.

An overwhelming favorite, The Waverly boasts an open floor plan with plenty of living space. The base model starts at 2,825 square feet! Voters were drawn to the 2nd floor’s Game Room space at the top of the stairs, the welcoming Foyer, and above all, the exterior’s refined style. This stately home will fit in GREAT in KempBridge.

Next week, we’ll decide which exterior scheme this Waverly will have: Traditional or Transitional. Here is a sneak peak of the two (click on the image to see a larger size):

Built By Facebook, First Vote

Categories: Built By Facebook, Events | Posted: January 22, 2013

Built by Facebook kicks off TODAY. (For a refresher course on what it’s all about, check out our first blog post)

We first want you to decide which elevation you like best to be built in KempBridge in Chesapeake. What is going to be the newest addition to this amazing community?

Your choices are between the Waverly and the Belmont. Study each exterior and floorplan carefully!  While each is a beautiful, open-concept two-story home with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, there are definite differences in layout. For example, notice the garage attaches to the Kitchen in the Belmont, but opens to the Foyer and Family Room in the Waverly. When you get home from work, where would you rather enter the house? First stop in the kitchen for a snack or plop on the couch and turn on the TV?

Go to our Facebook Page and cast your vote now!

Homes in KempBridge are all brick front with vinyl or hardieplank siding and rear. In addition to the Waverly and the Belmont, we are also introducing the Remington and the Waterford as new models offered. More information and pictures of these models are soon to follow!
